Chasing the Falconers

Gordon Korman has a new series out called "On the Run" and the first book is a good one. The title is Chasing the Falconers and it will keep you turning the pages. Aiden Falconer and his sister Meg have been sent to a prison camp for juvenile deliquents called Sunnydale. Pretty name, huh? Well, life at Sunnydale isn't so pretty. The kids are in school for seven hours and every other waking minute is spent working the farm with kids who have committed pretty serious crimes. Only Aiden and Meg aren't like the other kids. They were sent to Sunnydale because their parents were found guilty of treason and are now spending the rest of their lives in a Florida prison. But one person knows the truth about their parents, a man named Frank Lindenauer; they knew him as Uncle Frank. The problem is, during the trial he seemed to have disappeared off the face of the Earth. If only they could get off the farm and find him, he could help prove their parents' innocence and help them reunite their family.
