Mary Margaret and the Perfect Pet Plan

Nine-year-old Mary Margaret is a girl who wants a pet. The problems she has to overcome include a father who is allergic to dander (tiny pieces of animal skin) and a family that is preparing for a new baby. So, Mary Margaret plays with her friend's dog, acquires a few pets that she doesn't really think count as pets, and tries to raise money to buy her own furry somthing or other to love.
